Hickory 150 Race Summary

On 05/05/2024, the drivers of the ZMax Late Model Tour visited Hickory Motor Speedway for the running of the Hickory 150.

Richie Coy would lead the field of 6 drivers to the green flag after a blistering lap in qualifying in his #19 Fury Motorsports machine.

The #23 of Brodie Hannah put on a show for the fans and his Fury Motorsports crew during the event, climbing from a 2nd place starting position to finish 1st, up 1 positions. Unfortunately, #19 Fury Motorsports driver Richie Coy did not fair as well, dropping from a 1st place starting position to finish a disappointing 3rd.

The #19 of Richie Coy set the fastest lap of the event with a lap of 14.175, proving that Fury Motorsports builds some wicked fast cars and had serious pace this weekend.

At the end of the day, it was the #23 of Brodie Hannah for Fury Motorsports who took the checkered flag, leading a dominating 95 of the 150 laps on their way to victory in the Hickory 150. The margin of victory was 01.812 over second place finisher Jacob Denson in the #79 B & H Racing car. The #19 of Richie Coy finished in third, followed by the #3 of Bryan Bliss2 in fourth and the #11 of Tony Solare in fifth.

All eyes turn to next week, where some drivers look to continue their success, while others look to get back on track in the 2024-A ZMax Late Model Tour season.
